Springs Preserve

Said to be the birthplace of Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Springs Preserve is an indoor / outdoor attraction that entertains visitors of all ages.  Over 300 indoor interactive exhibits tell the story of Las Vegas' past, present and future - including live animals that call the Las Vegas desert home.  Outdoors there is an eight acre botanical garden, walking trails and a children's play area.  There's also a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, Springs Cafe, on-site for lunch.
